HI MOM, IT'S ME I woke up at 2 am one morning with this song in my head. I got up, and in 45 minutes the song was completed. It is not about my life personally, but since writing it I have received many e-mails from people who this song has touched, I have come to realize the reason I received the inspiraiton to write it.
